Brahman USA proudly extends its mission of promoting integrity, education, and American Brahman excellence across borders—and that mission was on full display this month as Judd and Gayla Cullers of Heritage Cattle traveled to Colombia to participate in the 2025 Bucaramanga Show and international beef and dairy conference.
Judging Excellence on the Global Stage
Judd Cullers served as the official judge of the Bucaramanga Show, a prestigious three-day event showcasing nearly 700 head of Brahman cattle from some of South America’s top herds. His judging reflected decades of experience and a deep understanding of both phenotype and performance in Brahman cattle. His presence reinforced the credibility and knowledge that ABBA approved judges and Brahman USA members bring to international arenas.
Sharing Knowledge at the Beef & Dairy Conference
In addition to judging, Judd and Gayla Cullers were invited speakers at Colombia’s beef and dairy symposium, delivering an impactful presentation titled:
“Blending Tradition and Technology: Smarter Selection for Better Beef.”
During their session, they shared the five key selection traits used at Heritage Cattle, a Brahman USA founding member ranch, to build better, more profitable beef animals. Their insights into how traditional stockmanship can be enhanced by modern tools and genetic evaluation drew praise from attendees and sparked meaningful conversations among breeders and educators alike.
